The Challenge
How might we design a virtual gift system that resonates across India's diverse cultural landscape while driving meaningful economic value for creators? We needed to create digital assets that would:
Appeal viscerally across regional and cultural boundaries
Trigger emotional connections between viewers and creators
Translate cultural context into universal symbols of appreciation
Drive sustainable monetization for the platform's growing creator ecosystem

Cultural Immersion
To develop a virtual gift system that would resonate across India's diverse regions, I employed a nuanced approach to cultural understanding:

I conducted an extensive cultural exploration, collecting diverse references that spark joy and connection across different regions of India. This involved:
